Area Manager|Soweto
Daddy Ornismus Mngomezulu was appointed by the OLIVE LEAF Foundation (known as HOPE worldwide South Africa at the time) as the Area Manager for Soweto, Johannesburg during May 2007. In this position he is responsible for the management of the OLIVE LEAF Foundation 's operations, local stakeholder relationships and growth in Soweto.
Daddy's career started as a Junior Microbiologist at the British Laboratory, Inspectorate. Later he moved to Pick ‘n Pay Retailers, where he was employed as a Quality Control Technologist for a year and then promoted to a Food Technologist, a position he held for more than three years. His passion to serve, teach and help others lead to him leave the corporate sector and use his talents to serve disadvantaged communities. From an early age he was immersed in community work as he grew up with his grandparents who were missionaries in Kagiso, Krugersdorp.
Daddy graduated as a Biotechnologist in 2002 from the the University of Johannesburg and married Prudence in 2003.
