Thandie Maticinka 

Thandie Matikinca is the Mthatha Area Manager and joined the OLIVE LEAF Foundation (known as HOPE worldwide South Africa at the time) in November 2001 . She completed a Diploma in Office Administration in 1994 and is currently studying towards a degree in business Management with UNISA.

Her employ with the OLIVE LEAF Foundation started as the Site Administrator and a VCT (Voluntary Counsellor and Testing) Counsellor, then  in 2002 she was promoted to the Orphans and Vulnerable Children’s Programme Co-ordinator. In 2004 Thandie was appointed as the Area Manager for Mthatha . 

Thandie's duties are to oversee all the activities in the area and to manage the progress of all programs. Thandie also has the responsibility of building and maintaining relationships with Government Departments, other NGO’S , the Business Sector and other relevant Partners .

Thandie is passionate about her own community and serves on the Board of the Mthatha Church of Christ. 

Khaya and Thandie were married in 1996 and have 2 daughters, Amanda and Khayakazi. The Maticinka family lives in the rural area of Zimbane, close to Mthahta.
